PRESS RELEASE

September- National Forgiveness Month

Let the Healing Begin

September 1, 2008- Chicago, IL- September now represents more than just the beginning of Fall. It is also a time for people to clear out their cob-webbed resentments and enter into a new season in their lives. Today, Alethea Pascascio, owner of Queen Publications and author of best selling ‘self-help novel’, Bag Lady stated, “Last year we kicked off National Forgiveness Month with an extraordinary essay contest, however, this year I wanted to do something different. We are having one internet show every week in September on Blogtalkradio.com and the guests are extraordinary. Jackie Millar is one of our guests with such an incredible story. She was shot in the head and left for dead. Everyone needs to hear her discuss how she forgave the perpetrators. Her story is so phenomenal that it  has been featured on the Oprah Show.”

Callers are welcome to join the conversation during each show by calling (914) 338-0237. The live, Internet talk-radio show will stream from the host page at http://blogtalkradio.com/forgiveness. All show times are listed in central standard time.

When asked the purpose of National Forgiveness Month, Ms. Pascascio replied, “Anything that is done consistently for thirty days will most likely become a habit and a part of your character. So for thirty days we’re challenging everyone to focus on developing their ‘forgiveness muscle’ because its strength can move their lives to the next level. Of course, a person can forgive at any time but we’re asking everyone to pay special attention to it during the month of September.”

PRESS RELEASE continued:

The effects of unforgiveness go much deeper than people realize. Research shows that not forgiving someone can adversely affect both your mental and physical health. “There are many people suffering with headaches, body aches, and even heart disease all because of unforgiveness”, Ms. Pascascio continued. “It’s crucial for everyone to understand that there is much more to forgiveness than simply balancing their emotional state, it can be a matter of life and death.”

So before you run out and buy that bottle of pain reliever or spend money on those doctors’ office visits, search your life with a fine tooth comb to ensure that unforgiveness isn’t the root of what ails you.
